Pet Boarding for Dogs & Cats in the San Antonio Area

Sometimes we must be away from our pets: perhaps we need to travel for work, would like to enjoy a vacation, or need time to attend to important matters. Trust Leon Valley Veterinary Hospital to provide safe, secure boarding for your dogs and cats.

Intimate Boarding Facility

We offer a small boarding facility in an intimate setting for thoughtful, compassionate care. Our veterinary team treats your pet like family with outside dog walking a minimum of twice a day and lots of personal attention.

Since our facility is small, reservations well in advance are recommended, especially during holiday seasons. Contact us to discuss your boarding needs, and download our boarding agreement form to review and complete at home:

Boarding Medically Complex Pets

Pet owners with medically complex dogs or cats find boarding can be difficult. We solve the problem by providing boarding and veterinary services under one roof. Our veterinary team is experienced in caring for pets with chronic illnesses such as diabetes or thyroid disease.

Discuss your pet’s medical boarding needs with us well in advance, to be certain all medications and care products are on hand at drop off. Added fees are charged for pet nursing care, and rates are determined based upon the patient’s level of need. We are always pleased to discuss your pet’s specific needs and advise you of the boarding rate in advance.

Combine Wellness Care with Boarding

Our boarding guests may have wellness care needs that can be scheduled while you are away, such as dental services, exams, vaccinations, or nail trims. Dogs boarded for more than seven days receive a free bath.

All boarders are required to be fully vaccinated prior to arrival. Contact the hospital for more information.
