Pet emergencies come in many forms: an accident, an injury, or a sudden illness. Perhaps your pet has ingested an unsafe substance, or maybe something just doesn't seem right. Leon Valley Veterinary Hospital is equipped to diagnose and treat a variety of emergency illnesses and injuries for dogs and cats.
Emergency Care for Sick & Injured Pets
Our diagnostics include an in-house laboratory and modern imaging technology. Our veterinarian, Dr. Meier is skilled and experienced in addressing a broad range of illnesses and injury, from medical interventions to surgery. In addition, we offer a fully stocked veterinary pharmacy with prescription drugs as well as over the counter treatments and supplies.
When your pet has more complex needs, we are able to stabilize the patient and transfer to an area veterinary emergency facility designed to effectively address the problem. Our pet referral program has allowed us to develop strong relationships with area specialists for veterinary concerns such as orthopedics, cardiology, or oncology.
